How We Use Your Data

  • Marketing: Sending you relevant training updates, course announcements, and promotional offers (with your consent or based on legitimate interest).

  • Legal & Compliance: Meeting our legal obligations under applicable UAE and Egyptian data protection laws.

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Certification & Awarding Bodies: When you enrol in a certified programme (e.g. CTP, FMVA, CMA), your name, email, and registration details are submitted to the relevant institute (e.g. AFP — Association for Financial Professionals) for exam eligibility and certificate issuance.
  • Learning Management System (Thinkific): Your name and email are shared with our LMS to create your course account and provide access to digital materials.
  • CRM Platform (HubSpot): Form submissions from our website are transmitted to HubSpot, our customer relationship management platform, to manage follow-ups and enquiries.
  • Payment Processors: Payment transactions are handled by secure third-party providers. We do not store or have access to your full card details.
  • Internal Team: Relevant Beacon FinTrain staff (Sales, Training Operations, Finance) may access your data to deliver the service you requested.
  • Legal Authorities: Where required by law or a valid regulatory request, we may disclose your data to relevant authorities.
All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties beyond what is described above.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Course & Registration Records: Retained for a minimum of 5 years to support certificate verification and compliance requirements.
  • Financial & Invoice Records: Retained for 7 years in accordance with applicable accounting regulations.
  • Website Enquiries & Contact Forms: Retained for up to 2 years from the date of last interaction.
  • Marketing Contacts: Retained until you opt out or request deletion.

After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:

  • Saudi Arabia: Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) issued by Royal Decree M/19 of 2021.
  • International: Where clients are located in the EU or UK, we apply principles consistent with the GDPR as a standard of good practice.
Beacon FinTrain will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
